- Car Rental Terms & Conditions Summary

1. The hirer will be responsible for the access insurance charge of AED 1,500 in the event of any accident caused to the vehicle. All necessary police and court case documents must be submitted to claim damages from the insurance company. If not submitted, the hirer will be responsible for the full damage charges and for paying hire charges during the repair period.

2. Motor vehicle will mean the car or whatever is hired with such accessories.

3. The hirer shall pay deposit as required and the charges in advance as laid schedule unless we have previous agreements.

4. The vehicle was delivered to him in good condition as per chart overleaf with radiator or reservoir full and he undertakes to keep sufficient water & oil in the vehicle.

5. The hirer also agrees to let the company have the vehicle for such services as are due to manufacturer’s requirements.

6. The hirer also agrees to deliver back the vehicle with full petrol or pay for the same by the end of the hire.

7. The hirer also agrees to reimburse the company for any loss or profit due to his failure to comply with his obligation. He must notify the company should any mechanical fault or accident damages occur. He should then send the car to us for repairs and not get the car repaired externally. He will be responsible for the cost if he has not notified us and got written consent.

8. If the vehicle is damaged in any way then we reserve the right to charge the hirer for the required repairs. The period of hire should then be extended to cover the time taken for repairs.

9. Damages to be caused then the hirer will be responsible for the amount of such damages. In case the loss is not recovered, the hirer must then pay such compensation as would cover the company’s loss.

10. The hirer undertakes that he is licensed to drive and will show his license if asked and will not allow an unlicensed person to drive the vehicle.

11. The vehicle shall not be used for races or competition or carry passengers for hire or otherwise jeopardize the vehicle.

12. Any notice to cancel or terminate or make changes to a statement made by the hirer must be addressed to our registered office listed in this agreement, at our discretion with due process. Our right to recover charges which may be outstanding, authorizes the company to collect the same from the present address, which is: Post Box 232473, Dubai, U.A.E.

13. The hired car must not be used for towing purpose and in case he does, the agreement will become invalid.

14. The hirer also agrees to return the vehicle in time, as in accordance with the meter reading for the maintenance service periodically, otherwise will bear the charges for the caused damages. In case of conducting maintenance himself, the hirer shall confirm the same with the company at his own expense.

15. The minimum period of rent will be one day (24 hrs) and will be granted maximum 2 additional hours to return the car, and delay after that will be calculated as applicable charges for the following day(s).

16. If the hirer desires not to extend the lease period, he shall advise the same before the expiry of the original date of hire and confirm that the hirer will be entitled to return the vehicle wherever it is or else then competent authorities will be reported of loss of the vehicle.

17. Extensions in the hire period can be granted if any extra deposit is required should be paid and written consent should be obtained and the vehicle is returned.

18. The hirer will be liable to pay the rental charge if the vehicle is damaged and seized by police, court or public prosecution. In the event he has caused the accident and or injured pursuant as per section 282-292 of the civil transactions law.

19. The hirer shall pay 30% of the net car value if the car was cancelled due to accident or impound.

20. The hirer is liable to follow-up with the rent duration for any legalities pertaining to the cancellation or total loss with the insurance company, garage or court clearance until the same is released and declared to be 'roadworthy.'

21. In case of any accident and judgment made by the court order, a legal procedure will be followed. The hirer is liable for full payment if theft is verified.

22. The hirer also agrees to pay charges full value in case of vehicle confiscation.

23. The hirer shall bear 20% of the daily rent value if the vehicle was returned by the hirer earlier than agreed date.

24. The hirer shall pay the company full repair cost in cases of accidents if the hirer was at fault.

25. The hirer has an obligation to inspect and check the vehicle to be proper in entirety and agrees all repairs charges caused to the car. The duration for the settlement of charges before the next rent must be valid for the vehicle repair as per the agreed date.

26. The insurance coverage does not apply to windscreen and all glasses, tires rims, top covers, painting and prosecution in accidents.

27. The hirer is accountable for all accidents caused by any accident that occurs while the hirer is under drug influence or possessing of narcotics will be entirely borne by him.

28. In case of such accidents the hirer shall not move the vehicle from the place of accident without permission of the traffic police and legal authorities.

29. The hirer will be directly responsible for legal & commercial charges including traffic fines, court cases, and parking tickets during and subsequently after the rental period. The company also reserves the right within one year of such rental to claim any such unpaid amounts from the hirer.
